Event objective and background:
• The first annual cocktail party “Meet Me Halfway” will bring together graduate students from all campuses and schools in Johns Hopkins University and Taiwanese students from other universities in DC area to provide opportunity that familiarize students with the formal attire and networking skills in a social setting.
• Planned as a part of Taiwanese art series, this year’s event will take place on Saturday, February 26th, 2011. Featuring a certain amount of collections from Taiwanese or other Asian student artists and architects, we expect enthusiastic, lively, and large group of attendees.
• 100% of donation ($5 suggested per person) in the party will be donated to the Mennonite Christian Hospital, Hualien, Taiwan.
